Art in the workplace
Following a devastating fire and rebuild, the Partners at Manor Park Surgery decided to invest in
a range of contemporary photographs by Mark Zaretti, to decorate their fresh new surgery. The challenge was
to provide 20 large prints which all 14,000 patients and staff could relate to and enjoy on a daily basis.
"Mark Zaretti's beautiful photographs of British woodland, landscapes and wild-life, and summer scenes
of the continent have lifted the whole building. They are of extremely high production quality, lovely to
look at, with immense detail and rich colouration.
I have been delighted by exactly how much enjoyment they provide on a daily basis. I continue to see
new things in them even after a whole year.
We have all had our working environment hugely improved simply by investing in these wonderful
photographs and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Staff and patients alike have enthusiastically
become "armchair experts" and enjoy discussing their favourite shot. In fact we went back for a second
selection too as we decided our walls needed more! They really make a difference to us all every day.
