The Steps to Creating Great Images

Delivering a Quality Service

Planning

The creative process starts when you contact Mark Zaretti Photography and in a friendly conversation discuss the details of what you want. He will then provide a simple quote with no hidden extras and a date for the shoot is set. You can then relax assured that you are working with a reliable professional.

Preparation

Before your shoot all the equipment - every single lens and light sensor is delicately cleaned using special professional cleaning equipment - a process that literally takes hours.

The Shoot

During your shoot, whether it is in a studio or on location, Mark Zaretti works in a relaxed and professional way putting everyone at ease. With an eye for detail and top of the range lighting, lenses and cameras - like an artist having the right brushes, paint and lighting creativity flows without restriction. He gives constant feedback during the shoot and invites you to see the preliminary shots as things progress maintaining communication as appropriate with you.

Post Production

This attention to detail and creativity are carried into the next stage where Mark will spend on average two hours in post production for every hour of studio time manually going over every single picture to make a great picture even better. Every single picture Mark delivers has gone through this process:

  attention to detail

"This 'high key' fashion image was created using powerful lighting from multiple sources with the right backgrounds to capture the detail in the dress, hair and make-up. During the post production phase the make-up was enhanced and the image was manually adjusted taking it further towards the energetic, high contrast and deliberately stylized look shown on the right. Even in more candid or natural shots such as at weddings and corporate events I take the same level of attention to detail and care on every image."
