I spent the best part of an entire afternoon following bumble bees around a garden in Leeds one summer. With a very narrow depth of field on the Macro lens, this shot took a lot patience but for me was absolutely worth it.

I love the amazing contrast between the rich blue petals emerging from the green and black bud of this cornflower.

Taken in April 2008 using a 200mm zoom lens. Every morning this pigeon would land in the cherry tree outside my bedroom window to eat the blossum. There's a lovely oriental style to the picture.
