What are website cookies?

Cookies are a natural part of how web browsers work. They are small text files stored by your web browser such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox and Chrome etc. These little text files are stored on your computer, tablet or mobile phone and enable functionality on a website. They are important for providing functionality such as being able to log in or remembering your user preferences on a website. Think of them as little sticky notes which your browser leaves for itself so it can remember important bits of information next time you visit a web page.

How does ZARETTI Consulting Ltd use cookies?

Like most websites our website creates a simple 'user session' cookie for each user who visits. This cookie does not store any personal information - it simply allows the website to distinguish between one anonymous user and another when serving website pages. This allows the website to provide basic functionality such as a browsing history for a particular user, or to be able count the total number of users currently viewing the site.

The ZARETTI Consulting Limited website also uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics is a tool that allows the behaviour of users on a website to be analysed, to help a website owner provide the best user experience. Google Analytics generates cookies that identify whether you have visited the website before, which pages you visit and how long you spend on the site. These cookies are not able to identify you as an individual and your anonymity is preserved. The analytics cookies are used for statistical purposes only.

Only employees of ZARETTI Consulting Limited ever access the information derived from analytics and we never share this information with third parties.
