Canterbury - The Old Marlow Theatre - Photograph at Night
Tuesday 12th July 2011
I was visiting Canterbury last week and I walked past the new Marlow Theatre building site which is almost complete. It reminded me that one foggy night back in December 2006 I had done a series of photographs of Canterbury at night. One of them was this shot of the old Marlow Theatre. Enjoy! Canterbury Cathedral at night
Friday 8th April 2011
Sometimes I'm driving along and I spot something that I just have to photograph so last night as I was driving back from the Gulbenkian Theatre I noticed this view of Canterbury Cathedral. It was about 11pm so I pulled over and got a tripod and my 5D out and took a few long exposure shots. I've heard that there may be a hotel built where I was standing to take this shot which means that we'll loose this view so I'm glad I took the opportunity to grab this shot.

Nick Kemp uses Photos from his Digital Portrait Shoot for an article in Changes Magazine
Thursday 23rd September 2010
I recently did a studio photo shoot for one of my long-standing clients Nick Kemp, an internationally recognised trainer and therapist. He has already used the images for his website, posters, DVD artwork and numerous other ways. So when he was contacted by Changes Magazine, about an article he was able to provide digital copies of some of his portfolio head shots. I also supplied the images used on his Provocative Change Works DVD boxset which is shown on the front cover and in his article. It's always great to see the different ways that my clients get great return on investment for thier images. Just another example of why many professionals choose to work with me to develop their professional promotional image portfolio. Wildlife Photography - in my front garden
Wednesday 19th May 2010
I'm was just packing my cameras and kit for a wedding that I'm photographing this weekend and I heard a lot of bird noise from the front garden, so I grabbed my 200m telephoto lens and Nikon camera and quietly sneaked out the front door... The source of the noise was a baby blackbird, and some other birds all feasting on a malt loaf that I'd thrown out for them a the other day. So it turns out that they like malt loaf! The baby black bird is one of three young that are in my garden and it's fascinating watching them as their parents show them how to eat and do "bird things". When I get up close to them they always remind me of little dinosaurs... the way they move and behave. So it just goes to show, sometimes you don't have to travel far to see wildlife!
